A TRIBUTE TO OUR HERITAGE: THE GOLDEN COLLECTION
Launched in 2020, the Golden Collection aims to showcase Golden Goose's most iconic creations. Drawing inspiration from our Archive, the collection epitomizes our core values of craftsmanship, authenticity, and timelessness. Its emblematic pieces perfectly capture the essence of our ‘Forever, for you’ motto, which reflects our commitment to elevate our customers’ unique style and the durability of our garments.
Our Golden Collection is crafted from premium materials and is entirely handmade by means of artisanal and traditional techniques. The fabrics are designed to stand the test of time, and to accompany Golden Lovers throughout their life.
OUR CREATIVE STORYTELLING THROUGH FASHION
The Golden collection embodies the sweet spot between distressed and sartorial looks, encapsulating the eclectic spirit of Golden Goose's heritage. Among the staples of the collection is the iconic leather jacket, characterized by a lived-in finish that simulates wear and tear through by-hand artisanal distressing.
Each stud is hand-applied, while duct tape appliqués add character and depth to its shabby-chic appearance, evoking the makeshift repairs skateboarders resort to, to fix their boards and shoes. Pieces like the double-breasted blazer, on the other hand, embody the collection’s sartorial spirit, while also expressing the brand’s playful and spontaneous side: the lining of this particular item features a printed message, serving as a secret between the parts.
Featured as a staple element in everything from shirts to pants, denim plays a pivotal role in the collection. We have deliberately removed the brand patch from some of our models’ waistband to reveal the original fabric color, by recreating a contrasting effect with the post-wash hue. Encompassing all aspects of both the manufacturing process and the treatments involved, each piece tells a different story that we want to share with Golden Lovers and the rest of the world.

We have taken an even greener stride towards a more eco-minded future: each box features a QR code that provides access to our sustainable initiatives, including the chance to plant a tree in an area of the world needing reforestation, in partnership with Treedom. Last but not least, the left heel of each shoe features a unique code, allowing the Yatay’s owner to join our Golden Forest with their dedicated tree.
By raising awareness among all Golden Lovers through fashion and our commitment to sustainability, we actively work to reduce our footprint, and see the Yatay as a sneaker that brings us closer to our vision of a responsible, innovative future.
